Last One To Post on RGBstock Wins

1. xymonau12 January 2010, 22:53 GMT +00:00

Well, it had to be done, didn't it? And since this is both the first and last post, I have won. Thank you all.

4922. gesinek31 October 2012, 15:31 GMT +01:00

And that in the middle of the week. Ok, just for the fun of it...and the headache tomorrow.

I wonder what costumes they wear??!!

4923. xymonau3 November 2012, 9:50 GMT +01:00

Well, the moth is definitely dressed as a crook. But I shudder to think how he dressed the prize.

4924. gesinek4 November 2012, 14:55 GMT +01:00

Halloween is over, And Moth and Prize are still not here. I think we have to contact the authorities again.

4925. xymonau4 November 2012, 22:53 GMT +01:00

Moth is commenting on Facebook. Perhaps he doesn't like us any more.

4926. gesinek4 November 2012, 23:26 GMT +01:00

I've seen that. But he didn't mentioned the prize. And, what have we done, so he is angry with us??

He is commenting a new picture of mine also.

4927. xymonau5 November 2012, 5:11 GMT +01:00

Men often don't like talking only to women. He's angry because we aren't men. I, however, am grateful we aren't men.

Gesine, if I do the blurb for a competition, would you be willing to tally up the figures to decide the winner? I think it is easier to base it on downloads again.

4928. gesinek5 November 2012, 17:14 GMT +01:00

I think also the way to get a winner by downloads is the easiest one. Another idea could be most commented images. But a lot of people struggle with comments.

Giving points is something only those members could do if they read the blurb. So possibly there are only the 'usual suspects' who will take part of it.

So the variation downloads from day x to day y is the best way. And we are a stock so it also shows the stock quality. Anybody complained last year, isn't it?

Suggestion: from FR 16.11.12 to FR 21.12.12? Upload at 16.11. ?

4929. xymonau6 November 2012, 2:54 GMT +01:00

That sounds good, Gesine. I might need to be prompted closer to then. It's such a busy time at work this time of year, and I'm sick again today. Sometimes I think it will never end.

4930. gesinek7 November 2012, 11:09 GMT +01:00

Oh, I hope you get well soon.

It just occured to me that there should be perhaps a limit for the number of uploads.

I'm not sure if it is neseccary, but I think we had that the years ago.

4931. xymonau7 November 2012, 15:21 GMT +01:00

I thought of that, but since it's fairly open, and I don't want to police it too closely, maybe we could leave the number of entries without a limit? It might attract more good Christmas images for RGB that way. Or would that make too much work with the counting?

4932. gesinek7 November 2012, 20:44 GMT +01:00

Ah no,if there is a special keyword everybody has to use when he or she will take part. Thats all. I also think a limit of entries is not nessecary. But there should be a difference between photos and graphics. I think that's fair.

4933. xymonau8 November 2012, 8:05 GMT +01:00

I agree. I'll try to pay some attention to this on the weekend. We may have to start a week later than you suggested if I am not organised. I am still not feeling great, and I am so busy right now. This will be fun. I also want them to send out an email to all the members re the comp.

4934. gesinek8 November 2012, 10:52 GMT +01:00

Good idea!

And get well soon

4935. xymonau11 November 2012, 5:21 GMT +01:00

I just sent you a message on your contact form re the comp, Gesine.

Now, about the Moth - I broke into his house and released the prize. It was locked in a cage in the kitchen while he galavants everywhere. Fortunately, it is back in safe hands.

4936. gesinek11 November 2012, 12:06 GMT +01:00

Thanks God! Is the prize allright or should I sent some medicine for you two will recover again?

:) Get the comp started

4937. xymonau11 November 2012, 12:22 GMT +01:00

I just have to fine-tune a couple of things and I should be able to post it.

The prize needs no medicine. He says that awful man kept him drugged all the time he was missing. He wants to be chemical-free.

4938. gesinek11 November 2012, 15:20 GMT +01:00

To be chemical-free is a very good resolution. Moth will miss him soon. Let's see what he will do...

I have a mental image of him searching all over the house, the garden, the street...

4939. xymonau12 November 2012, 13:51 GMT +01:00

Well, he won't get him back now. He had his chance!

4940. gesinek12 November 2012, 17:08 GMT +01:00

Yes, and he can't imaging where the prize stay now.

4941. xymonau13 November 2012, 9:38 GMT +01:00

Well, of course there is the minor matter of the last one to post being the winner of the prize, so I think I'm it.

4942. gesinek13 November 2012, 9:47 GMT +01:00

May be later, and Moth forgot this possibility

4943. xymonau13 November 2012, 12:46 GMT +01:00

He's probably rich and needs no prize money.

4944. gesinek14 November 2012, 9:17 GMT +01:00

' I'm away because of sudden richness? ' Yes may be. Prize says he is glad he doesn't has to see him this times. He's still a little angry.

4945. xymonau15 November 2012, 10:53 GMT +01:00

Oh, well, he is on the board, but not posting here. That's good. That means he can't win.

The prize is beyond angry. Why, he asked me to buy him a can of petrol and a box of matches and a map to the Moth's house!
